Chaz said he'd found G'Kwan in the mudroom this morning. (Which is down two steps.)

"Did you see Dymphna. Because G'Kwan isn't adventurous (smart) enough to go by himself.'

No, he hadn't, and the boys had finished breakfast. But then I saw the boys headed with purpose back to the mudroom. Dymphna wanted her breakfast, too. (I hear her crunching on red peppers as I type, at her food plate in the kitchen. Where G'Kwan is not.)

Dymphna and Barry

With the warmer weather, Dymphna has been out and about more, which means G'Kwan has been stalking her. When I catch him at it I move him somewhere out of the way, though on occasion Mac has been seen coming over to take a look, which scare him into running away. I'm afraid that G'Kwan is just not impressing me lately.

Alas! The photo is so large I can't see ANYTHING!

O wait, now I can -- as soon as I posted this comment. What happened there? :)

That is funny!

Poor grumpy perpetually socially challenged G'Kwan.

Love, C.

Chaz couldn't see it, either, but I have no problem. I was too lazy to look up the html commands for adjust size using src, so I just put it under a cut. I'm glad you could see it.

I may need your turtle advice. My daughter is fixated on getting 1 more pet. She wants something that none of her friends have.

I've requested that she put together a formal proposal that includes feeding, caring, cost, length of life, can it be left alone for a weekend, etc. EG, if it's food has to be flown in from out of state, she will not get such a pet.

She's pondering lizards and turtles and I presume she will get to researching her proposal this summer, after school is out. If she comes up with a turtle one, I may run it by you for a reality check.

Love is letting your kid bring in a pet that will give you more work to do.

Turtles aren't that interactive, so they may not be what she's looking for. The upside is that they don't run away easily, and they're quiet. They also can't be housebroken, don't answer when called, and slow down (or even sleep) during the cold months.

There's more, too, but I'll wait until you need to know. :-)
