I met a man who gave his name as Alcatraz Eventide, the place and time of his conception. He didn't look older than I am, and Alcatraz closed on the day I was born. I would love to know the tale of how and why his parents fought to reach the closed island, thus how he eventually came about.

Or he was lying. But I'd love to know that story.

Oh yeah, there's a story there.

Even if you have to make it up for yourself. :-)

Or he looks older than he is? With a name like that he might have had a rough life!

No, he's much younger than I am.

It'll be a better story if you write it yourself!

You know the one about the man whose father was the Reading Festival, don't you?

No, I don't. What's his story?

*g* Ask your husband...

And herein lies a tale. Your version is likely to be better than his.

And if my reading in bio texts is to be believed, actual joining of egg and sperm usually happens a day or two after the humans join, so the actual conception doesn't happen "that romantic evening."

I can think of a few options. The American Indian activist occupation of Alcatraz in 1964. Also, I've spent more than one night on that island with other restoration volunteers who also brought their partners. I didn't make any babies, but I can't say someone else didn't.
