I feel like I'm resting in the middle of the eye of a tornado. My sick friend is doing better, and can almost talk again (after intubation). It turns out that I'm fainting because I have low blood pressure and I'm getting dehydrated during aikido class. I also have several friends having bad marriage problems. Let's hope things stay OK for a while. And my aikido test is in 18 days and counting.
In the good news front, I'm going down to L.A. again this weekend to hang out with some friends. Saturday will be helping one friend set up her web page for her jewelry business, and Sunday will be helping my new friend from last month with some computer stuff.
Current book: still WYRMHOLE, by Jay Caselberg. It's a lot of fun, but I haven't had much time for reading.

Date: 2003-11-04 11:10 pm (UTC)Sympathies on the friends with marriage problems. There are many times I'm grateful I'm still single. (Other times I wish I weren't, but I can usually acquire what I need other ways, and squish my own bugs.)
Congrats on the diagnosis. Glad it's not worse. And I'll be thinking of you on your test, and the L.A. trips. Hope they go well!
