Dec. 14th, 2004 08:23 pmI learned a new term from a customer last night, "Sissy la la", as in, "If you don't like grappa, you're a sissy la la." It's roughly equivalent to "girlie man" in meaning, and interestingly enough was taught to us by a German. A very fun German.
I also saw snow flurries this morning, which was neat, and really hope I don't see any tomorrow, as three of us catch a cab to the airport and fly home then. My new coat has been very much appreciated, as has my new scarf, and I can't help but think that new gloves wouldn't have hurt. Since the next time I'll need new clothes won't be for a long time, though, it's probably just as well.
As usual when sales or marketing is paying for it, dinner last night and tonight was excellent. Last night was a three course Italian meal, and tonight was venison. Yum. I was also the designated driver, for which I was glad.
