The Consuming Passion

I needed a bookshelf of a particular size and shape, and a new couch, and a friend from work said she knew a place where I could get just what I wanted. So I went with her to a discount furniture store, and sure enough, they had just what I needed. So I got them. *sigh* They were both a very good price, but I didn't want to buy a new couch before my trip to England. On the other hand, I really need a new couch. They'll be delivered in a couple of weeks. After that, we went to the mall, and I peeked into The Walking Company, and they had, again, just what I was looking for in shoes, so I got some new Eccos. I'm really pleased with my purchases, but I just wish they hadn't cost money. :-)
