Short weekend

I feel incredibly guilty as I read about everyone else's weekends. I pretty much napped and read all day Saturday. (I'm re-reading the Dragonriders of Pern books. The good ones, not the later ones.) Today I managed to go have lunch, make it to the five o'clock mass, and start my computer workout program. The computer program has an animated personal trainer, and makes up workouts for you based on 500 different exercises. I just went through "how much in shape are you really?" exercises today, which just about killed me, even though I warned the computer I was sedentary and overweight. Let's hope that will change.

In other news, Edward got a stuffed turtle and named it Karen. Because Karen is a good name for a turtle.

Where do you mark the cut-off between "good" and "later" Pern?

I consider good Pern to be Dragonflight, Dragonquest, Dragonsong, Dragonsinger, and The White Dragon. Dragondrums is borderline, and after that I can't read it.
