Black is so slimming

I got my new hakama today, and I just tried it on, with my gi and my new black belt. It looks good, and feels good, too. (I also wore my "Still Not King" T-shirt. I wore my "Go, Me!" T-shirt for my test.) I even look thinner. The hakama comes with a handy cheat sheet that shows how to put it on, and more importantly, how to fold it up when you're done. It's entirely pleated, and there is a set way for how to fold it and how to neatly fold up the ties.

Now I can't wait to wear it for real, but that won't be until Wednesday.
