An anniversary

This is my one-year anniversary at my current company. My boss took me out for lunch, which was nice. I really like working here. Also, I've decided that this company will be successful and will make me rich, or at least rich enough to buy a house here. Let's hope this one works out.

I'm glad you're still happy there.

After a year of steady employment, you have noticed that your debts are down and savings are up, right? Compare now to where you were at Alza (fiscally). Big progress! You don't need to be rich, just focused and determined.

What is 'rich', anyway? Isn't the definition "A lot more money than I have"?
