From Terry Bisson:

This is to announce a new monthly science fiction reading series at New College of California in San Francisco. There will be two readers each night, each for roughly half an hour, followed by a panel discussion or Q&A with both writers at the end of the evening to wrap things up. Depending on the reader, there may be book signings and book sales as well. We are starting March 28 with SF Grandmaster Robert Silverberg and Kim Stanley Robinson.

New College of California (766 Valencia, in the Mission near 19th) is sponsoring the series. There will be a $4 admission charge to cover costs.

The dates so far are:
March 28
April 18
May 16
June 13

Events will run from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The series will be hosted by Adam Cornford, a New College prof, SF aficionado, and Rhysling award-winning poet, and by Terry Bisson, a Bay Area SF writer, formerly of NY, where he ran the KGB SF reading series with Ellen Datlow and Alice Turner. Silicon Valley SF stalwart Karen Williams will also be helping out.

This is going to be fun.

[N.B.: I've seen the list of people Terry has invited so far to be potential readers, and it looks to be a very interesting series.]
