Mom!

My mother is in town visiting me. She hasn't been out here since Thanksgiving, and I'm very pleased to see her. Today we went with maestrateresa and had tea, which was lovely, then wandered around Santana Row for a while. Mom and I spent the late afternoon and evening watching the women's finals of the French Open (tennis), which was nice and relaxing. Tomorrow I'm going to take her to one of the protected areas along the bay so we can watch birds. And now I'm going to bed.
