Bard's Choice?

I need to send in Page copy for the Mists Bardic feast by Friday, and I don't have a Bard's Choice theme yet. I've been thinking about "a piece in praise of a Laurel", which would be nice, but kind of general. I've also been thinking of "a war song for the Mists", since the Princess has asked me to write one, but I may just go ahead and write one. Any and all suggestions will be appreciated.

Perhaps the owl and the pussy cat/lion? Her Highness's totem beastie is an owl and His Highness's is a lion.
