And thanks
Oct. 6th, 2007 07:36 pmThe memorial service was beautiful. The West Kingdom Choir and the Treblemakers sounded absolutely lovely. More people were there than I've ever seen in that church. Thank you, everyone, for coming, and thanks to
j_i_m_r and the Company of St. Teresa for the food, and to
helblonde and the sewing night folks for decorating and closing down. Canon Linda said that the post-funeral spread was the best she'd ever seen, and she's been to a lot of funerals.
I apologize for leaving when I did, but I was about to have a meltdown. Mom handed me a glass of wine when I came in, and I'm feeling much better now.
Teresa's professors and classmates came to the service, and the chairman of the department said that they decided to award her Master's degree posthumously. I'm very pleased by that.
