Hometown haiku
Mar. 4th, 2004 03:45 pmA few months ago, a bunch of people I know were writing hometown haiku, and this is the one I wrote. Feel free to contribute your own hometown haiku.
Idaho
Mountains, forests, snow--
admire the stunning vistas.
Ignore the people.

Date: 2004-03-04 06:54 pm (UTC)Little hill wrapped in fog
Rushing wind in the tall Eucs
A friend is laughing.
From the cool hilltop
All the world glitters below
Moonlight on the bay.
At the hill's elbow
Soft light glows from a window
Father is reading.
The wind does not sigh
Fog is not damp from weeping
The trees never mourn.
