Hometown haiku

A few months ago, a bunch of people I know were writing hometown haiku, and this is the one I wrote. Feel free to contribute your own hometown haiku.

Idaho

Mountains, forests, snow--
admire the stunning vistas.
Ignore the people.

Moved there when I was five, lived there until just over a year ago - much longer than either of my parents. 8)

Mountain View has always had an inferiority complex re Palo Alto; the relationship is much like San Francisco and L.A. San Francisco tries so hard to prove itself superior, while L.A. goes "Huh?"

...which is also like the relationship between L.A. and New York City.
