A happy day
Nov. 24th, 2005 10:38 pmMy brother, his girlfriend, my mother, and I celebrated Thanksgiving in our traditional way, by watching the Dallas Cowboys play football (they lost in overtime) and by eating a lot. We had our usual cornbread stuffing that my grandmother used to make, and this year added candied yams for the first time. I made the traditional pecan pie and chocolate pie (the only dark chocolate pie recipe I've ever seen). My brother's girlfriend brought a traditional Armenian family dish called something like borreg, which consists of melted cheese, filo bread, and more melted cheese. Yummmmm.
Tomorrow, Bruce and I are playing golf!
