A happy day

My brother, his girlfriend, my mother, and I celebrated Thanksgiving in our traditional way, by watching the Dallas Cowboys play football (they lost in overtime) and by eating a lot. We had our usual cornbread stuffing that my grandmother used to make, and this year added candied yams for the first time. I made the traditional pecan pie and chocolate pie (the only dark chocolate pie recipe I've ever seen). My brother's girlfriend brought a traditional Armenian family dish called something like borreg, which consists of melted cheese, filo bread, and more melted cheese. Yummmmm.

Tomorrow, Bruce and I are playing golf!

That sounds like a great Thanksgiving feast.

We watched the Dallas game too (waaay past our Thanksgiving dinner time back here on the East Coast), and then called relatives in TX afterward to commiserate.

Recipe, please! I need one, and Jello pudding makes a totally mediocre pie.

Best wishes on the golf!

Nope, unfortunately. It's still on the list.
